For a century Felixstowe has been a popular, peaceful resort for family holidays - boasting record hours of sunshine and one of the lowest rainfall levels in the country.
That is not to say the town has not changed in the past 100 years. It still retains its predominantly Victorian and Edwardian character, but with a mix of modern buildings and attractions.
Today it is also a favourite place with holidaymakers as a base for exploring further afield and seeing the richly varied county of Suffolk, its coast, heaths and market towns
