Fishing Bait

All the sea fishing baits list can be bought from your local tackle dealer or collected from the shoreline. If you do collect your own sea fishing bait then always be careful of the tides as you could get cut off and that some shorelines contain quick sands. Before digging your baits always check that your beach is safe to collect bait from

Crab - Shore
Great for bass wrasse and cod the peeler version being the favourite amongst anglers

Crab - Hermit
The hermit crab is wonderful bait when targeting Smoothound's and rays

Lugworm
One of the back bone baits for the sea angler. Nearly all fish can be taken on Lugworm

Limpets
Often over looked by anglers yet is very effective bait for wrasse. Also is on of the easiest baits to collect

A great flat fish bait when targeting flounders and alike

Sandeels can be used frozen fresh or as live bait when targeting fish like Bass

Shrimp
Coming in various size with the larger being used for Pollock whiting and many more

Squid
