Hayling Island is a favourite place of mine, fishing with Dave. The fishing I have done from this port has mainly been during the summer months for Smoothhounds, Tope and Sea Bream.

Tackle is light with up tiding producing the best results when fish the inner marks (Hermit crab a must for those great fighting Smoothhounds) During the summer weed can be a bit of a problem

There are plenty of B&B`s and Travel Inns around the area with good access from anywhere in the country.

Dave’s boat is great, he always makes the effort to find the fish and keeps the tea coming.

There is plenty of parking at the pick up point via the pub (about £2.00 to park) with a mobile café, which offers tea etc . The pub is clean and serves that all important pint after the day out
