Ramsgate , is now a commercial ferry port with a marina.

Georgian buildings in the town, and St Augustin's 1851 Roman Catholic church was designed by Pugin and he is buried here.
Chalk cliffs and sands, beach at Pegwell Bay to the south is worth a try
