Sea Bream - Pagellus centrodontus
Sea Bream area widely distributed around the UK coast line . Massive shoal of small fish 4-6 inches come close in to the south coast line during summer months where they can be caught on small hooks fished on a paternoster rig , making for some great fun
Bigger Sea Bream are generally taken from mid channel wrecking trips were they can be caught 2-4lb range make good sport and eating
Once a short term visitor to the shoreline they seem to be staying much longer and in greater numbers as the years go on
There are quiet a few different types of sea bream ranging from Black Bream , Gilthead , Couch with the Black Sea Bream being the most common
